The other day while looking for some music CDs in a store, noticed there was one guy doing something I've been doing since I had my first iPhone whenever I'm shopping. That is, every time I am interested on a product, I check its price and reviews online. The economic benefits I've seen by doing this before each potential purchase, pretty much outweigh the cost of a new iPhone + mobile plan after a short time (if you buy enough). Sometimes the price difference between the store and the e-retailer is so big that makes it clear why so many have closed already.
This habit has prevented me from buying items that have bad reviews or don't offer the best solution to my needs. The power that mobile devices are giving to consumers is huge and, as new technologies emerge and others mature, people can be better informed when they need to make a decision. That is the power of the network!

Panasonic bread machine hangs

Today my Panasonic SD-255 got stuck on the 4 hour bake cycle. Turning it off and on didn't solve the problem. The buttons (other than the Start/Stop) were not responding. The troubleshooting section of the manual didn't cover this event so, hey, let's google it!

Solution:
- Press and hold START/STOP until display goes blank
- With display still blank, press TIMER

- Voila!
God bless the internet! I wonder how long it would take to solve this kind of issues without the net.
